Floristry Workshops Update: New Ikebana Workshops for 2022

Our floristry workshops and classes are a great way to learn a new skill and explore your creative side in our increasingly digital and screen based life. Getting your hands on beautiful flowers and foliage reconnects us with nature and helps us to de-stress.

At The Flower Factory we aim to educate our students on the art of naturally inspired floristry, and give them the skills to create unique and stylish floral designs with flair and personality.

Learn how to choose and care for flowers, how to 'spiral' the stems, position them within the bouquet and lastly how to professionally wrap and present the finished bouquet.

Our floristry classes have been specially designed to allow you to explore a range of techniques in our signature Skandi inspired style. We also hold workshops using dried flowers which are both long lasting and eco friendly.

In addition to our Seasonal Hand Tied Bouquet Workshop we also offer a tour of the New Covent Garden Flower Market. We will guide you around London's main wholesale flower market and you will get tips on what to look out for when buying fresh, seasonal flowers and sundries.

This an amazing way to get an insider’s view into the wholesale side of floristry and learn how to source flowers for yourself and your events.

All our floristry workshops are suitable for beginners. We also can cater for larger groups, hen parties or corporate team building events. Have a look on our website or contact us for more information.

We are very pleased to announce that a new Ikebana workshop has been added to our class list and it is already proving to be very poplar with our clients. Ikebana is the ancient Japanese art of floral arranging that focuses on minimalism, seasonality and all things natural. We invite you to join us for this enlightening experience.
